Wrapping up the project
The final Transnational Partner Meeting took place in January 2025 at the University of Education Ludwigsburg, marking the last official gathering of the consortium. Here, the partners came together around a collaborative and forward-thinking agenda that included:
-
🎲 An Educational Escape Game: Mareike Oesterle and Joan-Tomas Pujola introduced “Götz the Explorer”, an engaging escape game designed to promote project results in a fun and interactive way. Partners had the chance to play the game and reflect on its potential for dissemination and exploitation.
-
✅ Finalising Project Results: All project results were finalised during the meeting, with partners reviewing deliverables and ensuring alignment with project goals.
-
🤝 Looking Ahead: Discussions on sustainability and future collaboration led to the development of three new proposal ideas — focusing on AI in education, immersive VR/AR technologies, and the expansion of the Virtual Makerspace concept. Our associated partner, Kevin Burden, from the University of Hull even attended the event to contribute to these conversations and participate in the multiplier events.
Partners highlighted the collaborative spirit of the meeting, with special appreciation for the escape game, school-based events, and strategic conversations around impact and exploitation.
At the end of the week, a delegation of five consortium partners, joined by an associate partner and six additional colleagues, travelled to London for the Bett Show — one of the world’s leading EdTech exhibitions. Held at ExCeL London from 23–25 January 2025, the event provided the perfect context to disseminate digiTED’s results further, engage with global stakeholders, and explore new opportunities for innovation in digital teacher education.
