On 23 September 2024, the digiTED project held its second virtual multiplier event, bringing together teacher educators and colleagues from the University of Osijek, Croatia. This engaging event served as an important platform to disseminate project outcomes and to explore innovative tools and practices that can be integrated into teacher educators’ professional practices. The primary focus was on introducing the concept of our developed Innovation Weeks, which aim to foster creativity and collaboration among teacher educators.
We kicked off the session on Covince, a virtual learning platform, aiming for an immersive experience. However, due to a great number of unforeseen technical issues, we transitioned to Zoom, enabling participants to continue engaging in meaningful discussions without interruption. The challenge of finding accessible, user-friendly virtual spaces that don’t require VR headsets remains a challenge, and we’re actively exploring further options.

The event featured a hands-on introduction to the digiTED Virtual Makerspace and a comprehensive look at our Inspirational Guide. These resources were met with great interest, as attendees discovered new methods and tools.
